The Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate for Toto/Gadabuke State Constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. (Alhaji) Usman Dauda, has outlined governance, security, empowerment and social development as key areas of his political aspiration ahead of the 2027 elections.
Dauda said the people of Toto Local Government deserve effective representation capable of communicating their concerns and interests at the state level.
He pledged to represent the interests of Toto/Gadabuke whenever matters affecting the constituency and the wider local government are brought before the House.

The candidate said he recognises the developmental foundations laid by previous and incumbent lawmakers representing the constituency.
According to him, his intention is to consolidate existing achievements while seeking opportunities to extend development into other areas of need.
Dauda also called for stronger grassroots participation in the political process, urging residents and stakeholders to support the SDP and its candidates ahead of the 2027 elections.
He said the party is prepared to provide leadership that addresses governance, security, youth and community empowerment as well as access to social amenities.
The SDP candidate thanked stakeholders in Toto Local Government for their acceptance of the party, describing their support as an important part of his political journey.
He assured the people that, if elected, he would remain committed to representing their interests and working toward improved development across the Toto/Gadabuke State Constituency.
“I won’t let them down,” Dauda assured stakeholders while seeking their support for the 2027 election.
